Thalia Waste Management went theatrical to showcase waste, as crowds bask in sun at Knaresborough bed race.

Early June, Knaresborough was a sea of colour as huge crowds turned out for its annual bed race. Thalia Waste Management sponsored ‘1st Scrivens Scouts’, one of the ninety teams taking part in the 2.4 mile route through the town, which included crossing the River Nidd.

For us, it was the greatest showman opportunity to showcase how we can turn today’s waste into tomorrow’s energy.

Even though we didn’t win, it was great a day overall for collaboration and inclusion.
Special thanks to 1st Scrivens Scouts who flew the flag for our Allerton Waste Recovery Park.
Here are some photos from the day.
